The Ink Black Heart is a cartoon character named Harty, a black heart that has escaped from its owner's chest and resides in Highgate Cemetery. The black color of the heart symbolizes the corruption from its evil owner, but Harty strives to be good despite this dark origin. The crime story revolves around the investigation of an online fan group of the popular and successful Ink Black Heart cartoon series. The fan group is run by a vindictive but anonymous person named Anomie who operates an unauthorized online game and fan group based on the cartoon. Anomie posts threatening messages, spreads rumors, and frequently attacks Edie Ledwell, one of the creators, within the online fan group. Becoming increasingly unhinged and insanely jealous of the creators who are about to sign a deal for a feature film, Anomie resorts to murdering Edie Ledwell and seriously injuring the other creator. Strike and his partner must find out who the anonymous Anomie is in real life. Rowling’s plot has some significant insights into people with Ink Black Hearts as well as the lies and toxic conditions that grow like mold within online fan groups. The book was a much too long a slog, with excessive chatroom dialog, but the streaming series gets a thumbs up. Rowling’s book release dates are always admirable. The book was released on August 30, 2022, when the Sun was quincunx Jupiter for success, parallel both Chiron for charm and Sedna for a corrupt subject, and both Neptune and Mercury (the plot) were parallel Xanthus, the planet of murderous intentions and dark hearts. The Magi Society once posted a warning about people who were born with Sun synchronizations to Xanthus.
MYSTICAL DEGREESThe degrees of the zodiac have held esoteric meanings for astrologers in the past. Some used psychic means to obtain penetrating insights while others used birth chart examples. Over the years I have gathered a list of keyword symbolic meanings for each degree of the zodiac. One degree Aquarius - The Lone WolfThe Sun in the chart of the U.S. Inauguration chart of January 20 represents the person seated as the "head" of the federal administration. This is at a degree of the zodiac associated with the “lone wolf.” A "lone wolf"is a person who prefers to act, live, or work alone. To explore further this degree represents someone who can be self-sufficient, follows his own instincts and deems his own agenda most important. Some people born with the Sun at this degree include Jeffrey Epstein, Nikki Haley, Buzz Aldrin, George Burns, and Aristotle Onassis. The 20th amendment to the U.S. constitution was ratified on January 23, 1933, and changed the inauguration date from March 4 to January 20. 14 Pisces - The ExtrovertWhen the inauguration was held on March 4 the Sun would have been at 14 Pisces, the degree symbolized by the word, “extrovert.” An extrovert will reach out to connect with others because he has confidence in himself and is willing to impart that confidence to those he touches. This symbolic meaning is much better suited for a President of a country, which is what the Sun represents in the inauguration chart. Some people born when the Sun was crossing 14 Pisces include Knute Rockne, John Garfield, Patricia Heaton, and Miriam Makeba. 23 Gemini - FaithDonald Trump’s birthday is June 14 and the Sun at 23 Gemini has a keyword of “faith.” The Sun in a birth chart of an individual represents what is most important and motivates that individual. In this instance, faith in the self and in others helps to create abundance and prosperity. 14 Libra - Law Enforcement & LawlessnessOne can also connect the degrees of other planets in a chart with their degree meanings. For instance, the U.S. chart of July 4, 1776, has Saturn at 14 Libra. Saturn is the area of structure in a birth chart, as well as weakness and problems . 14 Libra has a meaning of “law enforcement or lawlessness.” Recently, transiting Saturn created a quincunx to this natal planet in the U.S. chart. The news of the past month may illustrate times when laws that were not enforced led to lawlessness or when laws were abused for a lawless purpose. There is always a balance struck because laws are useless unless they are enforced,, but heavy handed enforcement can trigger lawlessness and rebellion. 15 Cancer – Money counting, numbersSinger Taylor Swift has become quite famous especially this past year; her popularity and talent, as well as her glamorous romantic relationships, are often shown in the news. Her birthday is December 13,1989. Chiron, the planet of career, popularity, talent, and charisma was at 15 Cancer when she was born. One interpretation of the keywords for this degree could be, “Counting possessions and money to see if there is enough for the future is wise before excessive spending occurs on temporary things.” One wonders if this degree means that she deliberately capitalizes on her relationship with footballer Travis Kelce since this degree of the zodiac is more materialistic than others. Red days are the most challenging. Green days are the most helpful. Yellow days need extra caution Set for NY 6 am Eastern Time Every day can vary in its propensity for a successful outcome. Some days are better for love, and some are better for money, but of course, your own chart's transits are the most important. However, when you have great transits and also pick a great day to start something new, the magic happens! Every day has some good alignments but also some unpleasant ones. No day is ever perfect. The Sun or Earth is the most important body in any chart, so understanding their daily alignments can help you make better choices. The Magi Society's Best & Worst Days list of "friendly days" are based on all the planets, while this column places emphasis on the aspects to the Sun & Earth. Update Feb. 1: Let the Trade Wars begin! The U.S. began imposing higher tariffs on imported goods from some countries. Canada just announced they will retaliate with a 25% tariff on American goods. February can be exciting or upsetting, but it won't be dull. Starting something new during the first two thirds of the month could lock in some turbulence and changeful conditions. Saturn hampers the Earth Feb 6 - 8 while squares involving Uranus seem to dominate a large part of February. Changes can have a financial and emotional impact. Uranus squares Ceres Feb 6 Uranus squares Midas Feb 8 and Sappho on the 9th. Then on Feb 9 and 10 the Sun is conjunct emotionally volatile Sappho while square Uranus, so there is a T square of Sun, Sappho, Midas and Uranus. Meanwhile in the Heliocentric dimension Uranus and Ceres finalize their clash on Feb 13. Both Midas and Ceres are financial planets, so changes to business and financial systems could rock a few boats. Some of these tensions are offset by a trine from Chiron to Midas and the heliocentric dimension’s trine between Earth and Chiron, meaning loyalty will see you through turbulent times and commitment will be rewarded. By the 11th the Sun is lined up in a conjunction with Sappho, Ceres, and Mercury, and all are affected by the square to Uranus, so many decisions can be up in the air. By Valentine’s Day February 14 the Sun conjunct Ceres, which is very businesslike is also square Juno, pitting realism against fantasies. Romance can boil down to dollars and sense so be prepared to buy something for someone special to honor the tradition, but don’t expect an especially romantic evening. February 14 Jupiter Direct at 11 Gemini The Sun and Sedna clash creating a T square with Juno peaking on February 17, so things may be hidden to gain power by nefarious means. February 18 and 19th promotes a quincunx between Earth and Pluto, making it a better time to work on important projects or business and finances that will encounter fewer changes. Venus makes some more inviting alignments in this later part of the month, too.
