August 9-11 The Sun and Jupiter pair up during the first half of August and this provides the vision and optimism to make our futures brighter.

August 12-15 The power of deception is emphasized and acting on wishful thinking can result in shattered dreams if you have planets in your birth chart close to 28- 29 degrees of cardinal signs. This is a poor time to make changes since the Sun and Uranus form a square simultaneously across the 23^rd degree of fixed signs, so changes might be disruptive..

August 12 -17 Neptune and the Saturn/Chiron midpoint are conjunct –an alignment I have mentioned before – and this can represent making impulsive changes that can disrupt our peace of mind and the continuity of our plans. However, by using intelligence and relying on the guidance of our protective angels we can fight off negative influences. Since Neptune rules medicines there is a possibility that disclosures or news about vaccines or other treatments will be illuminated in the coming days that upend previous beliefs.

August 20 - 26 Some favorable alignments mean that much can be accomplished. However, Saturn hooking up with the Sun puts the brakes on enthusiasm and offers a reminder to be cautious, to honor the rules, to dot your I’s and cross your t’s. The worst of these days is August 26 when the Sun opposes a retrograde Saturn at 3.9 Pisces.

August 29-31 Put your best foot forward while Chiron is highlighted. Relationships of all kinds flourish when trust is reinforced. The full moon offers a sigh of relief as the realization dawns that tests are over, and the past is done. We move forward and earn respect by keeping our promises and fulfilling the trust invested in us.

OMNISHAMBLES

The word of the year from the Oxford dictionary is omnishambles. It means “a situation that has been comprehensively mismanaged, characterized by a string of blunders and miscalculations.”

This is a good word to describe 2020 – 2023.

It seems that after several years of Covid-19 alarms and restrictions, enforced vaccinations, lockdowns, burgeoning cancel culture, outright lies, runaway inflation, and a tense and fractious political cycle many people are suffering from something that presents like a classic case of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Symptoms of PTSD include feeling upset by things that remind you of what happened and feeling constantly on guard. Many people still seem on edge, waiting for the other shoe to drop, after watching the news and hearing about the numerous coverups, inaccuracies, and censorship that occurred during the past several years.

Despite PTSD, many people took advantage of (the now vanished) low interest rates to refinance their mortgages, found jobs that cut down on commuting, or had the time to take an interest in their children's education.

Therapy and medication are two solutions to help PTSD sufferers. One person at a veteran’s group website said, "In therapy I learned how to respond differently to the thoughts that used to get stuck in my head."

Repeating Meditation Mantras will help sufferers from PTSD, or anyone wrapped up in despair, respond differently to negative inner thoughts and the intrusion of negative input from the outer world.

Possible Gilgo Beach Serial Killer Arrested

Speaking of negative.....On July 14, 2023, a suspect in the string of Gilgo Beach murders was arrested. Architect Rex Heuermann was born September 13, 1963, according to data found in a previous court case.

On the day he was arrested, transiting Saturn was almost exactly opposite his natal Uranus (the planet of fame) which is an indicatation of notoriety.

Meanwhile, transiting Pluto was almost exactly square Heuermann’s natal Sedna, which was part of a T-square of Ixion and Odin, so this created a Grand Cross.

This man’s natal Venus was opposed by the natal Saturn/Sedna midpoint as indicated by the gold arrows. Since midpoints have two identical ends, his natal Venus is also conjunct the Saturn/Sedna midpoint, which could be considered an indicator of coldhearted cruelty. It won’t be surprising if he is found guilty since Venus rules companionship and apparently the women that were killed were said to be paid companions.
