Every project, business, romantic relationship, or partnership has its own birth chart, and the Sun and Earth are the most crucial factors in that chart.

Red days are the most challenging. Green days are the most helpful. Yellow days need extra caution

Every day can vary in its propensity for a successful outcome. Some days are better for love, and some are better for money, but of course, your own chart's transits are the most important. However, when you have great transits and also pick a great day to start something new, the magic happens!

March has some good alignments but also some unpleasant ones. No day is ever perfect.

The Saturn/Sedna contraparallel reached an effective orb of influence on February 24 and is exact March 19. Meanwhile a Saturn/Chiron contraparallel forms in early March and is exact on March 23. Saturn/Sedna can control and limit the unethical elements of society, but Saturn/Chiron is much more personal and especially troublesome for new relationships and careers.

All the issues that arise in March can be magnified by the spring eclipses.

The thing is that when Saturn/Chiron is part of a chart, a charm offensive can fall flat and any infraction of the rules can have repercussions. And it is very easy to lock yourself into a relationship or situation that becomes a thorn in your side. The best advice if these alignments affect your chart is to honor your promises and fulfill your commitments (Chiron), take care of your obligations (Saturn), and do not give in to impulsive behavior (Chiron) since it could create liabilities and censure (Saturn).

As usual, there is always something divine to find in the movements of the planets. Soothing Neptune is parallel Juno and contraparallel Chiron in the latitudes this month. It is lurking in the background and accentuating our need to escape from the mundane, to drink deeply from the springs of peace, and imagine beauty and lasting love. Neptune allows us to reach deeply into our spiritual self and find the compassion and understanding to coexist with others.

Here are a few days in the month ahead to note:

March 8- 12 Several favorable alignments involving Jupiter and Uranus in the heliocentric chart make this an ideal time to launch something new, especially if you want fame and good fortune. It might be an excellent time to make wide ranging changes. However, the opposition of Saturn and Juno, exacerbated by the T-square formed with nasty Lilith, indicates deception, misconceptions, and rejections.. This is especially worrisome if it is linked to your birth chart.

March 27 - 30 Saturn quincunx Earth - Preferable to not have Saturn highlighted in a chart, but there is some supportive planetary geometry since Mars trines the Earth at the same time. This dissipates negative energy which means that you can work (Mars) through any problems (Saturn). ALSO, there is Grand Trine involving the Sun in the Geo chart.

I found this meme on one of my social media feeds. It was impactful because Neptune rules both medicine and music in Magi Astrology. This makes so much sense since medicine strives to bring body chemistry into a healthy balance in the same way that music strives to bring a series of notes into a harmonious whole. Neptune's symbol is the trident which you can see in the pictograph.

Eerie Eclipses

April 8 Total Solar Eclipse

Eclipses can be awe inspiring, although ancient peoples who did not understand what was happening were frightened. But even modern people who understand the phenomena can be spooked by the eerie darkness that descends during a total solar eclipse.

So many people have asked about the April 8 total solar eclipse.

Eclipses occur in pairs and this one is paired with the lunar eclipse of March 25.

Eclipses occur several times every year, but most of them cannot be seen. This year's April 8 eclipse can be seen in parts of the U.S. Here is a link with a map

The lunar eclipse of March 25 is mainly benign. The Sun opposition Moon is supported and steadied because the Sun forms a Grand Trine with Diana and Sappho, plus a few other space rocks are nearby to add more power and stability

This spring's new moon and total solar eclipse of April 8 is highlighted by a conjunction and parallel with Chiron, the ruler of marriage, children, charisma, and all things related to trust and commitment.

The emphasis is on family ties, trusted relationships, and popularlity. But there is much more.

Simultaneously, the Sun and Moon are separating from the square to the business planet Ceres. However, because of their relative motions Ceres continues to form a square with Chiron until April 25. This can be disruptive to business and commerce, since ill considered impulsive changes or a lack of trust can impact outcomes or upset financial apple carts.On the flip side cut throat tactics can harm reputations or being too material minded can put relationships in an awkward position. But this isn't the main gist of the eclipse.

By declination the Sun and Moon, and the eclipse, are powerfully linked with Mars, Saturn, and Sedna. Not long after the eclipse peaks on April 8 the Sun is both conjunct Chiron AND parallel Chiron, so there is a planetary eclipse of Chiron.

Let's take a moment to backtrack to March 19 and March 23 when Saturn was exactly contraparallel Sedna and Saturn. All the issues that arose in March can be magnified with the eclipse. The Saturn/Sedna contraparallel reached an effective orb of influence on February 24, while the Saturn/Chiron contraparallel bled into our consciousness March 6.

So, we have Saturn limiting and casting disapproval on the immoral and unethical manifestations of Sedna, but at the same time the heartbreak/hailstorm alignment of Saturn and Chiron is involved with the eclipse energies. And Mars moves into place to magnify the Saturnian energies highlighted by the eclipse, and encourages us to work hard to overcome our limitations (Saturn) too.

This is powerful stuff.

There is an enormous amount of energy created when the Sun and Moon line up with the Earth. Many issues could come to a head and lead to a new start although this eclipse event lasts just a few hours.

State of the Union

Joe Biden continues to evade serious censure, despite numerous disclosures of possible financial hanky panky within his family circle. With Pluto creating a Grand Trine to his natal Uranus and Neptune, and Neptune trine his Sun, he seems to be a lasting presence on the political stage that can’t be challenged. He is cocooned and shielded from the media and consequences of his actions. He is sailing the serene waves of Neptune.

Donald Trump on the other hand is riding high with Jupiter and Uranus aligned with his natal Earth increasing the popularity of his philosophy. However, cold, and cruel Saturn is moving towards square with natal Dionysus (politics) and a quincunx to his Pluto (big money) in April and May. April also sees Saturn move into a position to checkmate his charisma (Chiron) for a few weeks, so he could temporarily lose traction in the political arena.

Things could look quite different by June for both contenders.

Despite all the news to the contrary and the government’s huge outlays of money the U.S. chart has some stability and security transits in process. Both Jupiter and Uranus are forming a trine to the U.S. chart’s Neptune (assets, resources, health).

Face it, the media is now an indoctrination machine. There is an agenda behind almost every post and interview. AI has brought calculated messages and ads to every computer and cell phone screen. The world is in flux, people are jockeying for position, and power-hungry factions reframe the facts with propaganda.

It is time to take a step back and look again with clear eyes. We are all part of the whole and the whole is changing. We can easily allow our bias to affect our judgement. It is not only a case of survival of the fittest, but survival of those who can adapt to our strange new reality.
